Handkerchief
This was my first time to work with clay since grade school. I created a slab and imprinted a design on it. Then I wrapped it around a pop can to give it shape. Then I added the accents. I chose red and black because they are simple and classy colors.
Denim Drops
This was my second slab piece. I created a slab and wrapped it around a pop can to give it shape. I chose to paint it white because it allows the blue to stand out. The reason for the blue drops was because I wanted it to appear as if water was running down from the top of the mug.
